Education is an essential step to achieve the SDG. Quality education help people break free from the circle of poverty they are trapped in, and this is getting even more true when it comes to learning in-demand skills.

What are in-demand skills ?

The world is rapidly evolving. New technologies are an essential part of our life, and creating and mastering them is one of the most valuable skills you could wish for. Nowadays, the most in-demand skills are related to new technologies. Those skills are als very relevant when it comes to financial success, hence reconnecting us back to our initial goal, fulfill the UN's 4th SDG !

Eneza Education

Based in Ghana, Eneza Education is a project providing call-on teachers for students. In fact, on the African Continent, the professor to student ratio is 1/86 in primary school. This initiative will help students to find a professor, as it provides them access to on-call virtual professors to help them answer their questions. With them comes a wide range of course material and programs to enable students to get right on track with their learning ! This can also serve professors, as the ressources fit the programs of various countries (Ghana, Kenya, Ivory Coast).

Founded in 2013 and based in Cape Town, Daptio uses artificial intelligence to help students, mentors and teachers to understand the proficiency level of each student as well as match the relevant content. Daptio is a startup based on adaptative learning courses delivered in South Africa. Students are getting recommended courses matching their profile and their current leranining needs and skills. This plateform is heavily based on acessing video databases, because it is structured around video learning.
